My second recommended app is Push Bullet and app that forwards notifications to your google chrome browser through a plugin. It is essentially an android ish version of continuity by Apple. The app push bullet allows you to quickly send files between devices as well as reply to Facebook and SMS messages. I find it particularly helpful as I can leave my phone on charge somewhere in my house and receive /reply to texts without needing to pick up my phone. The app essentially connects my Mac with my android. An odd combination of two totally different companies and OS
