Learning how to Code with Codecademy

Coding anything is simply like learning another language and until you are forced to take a look at it you may not want anything to do with it. Thankfully the team at codecademy makes learning that little bit easier by providing a handful of free guided courses that are easy to understand. The courses guide you through a series of informative 'cards' that run you through the basics, then you are challenged to follow instructions and code for yourself.

An example is the first Website course that teaches HTML and CSS. This tutorial gets you to build the Air BnB website which helps to relate each thread of code to the function it performs/alters. This post is in no way endorsed by codecademy but simply my experiences when using their site to learn coding.
